News!!!!

On Monday I called DCFS and asked about what was going on. Lately I've decided to be patient and it will happen when it happens and I'm in NO rush. This morning my phone rang, DCFS saying our background checks cleared and although they are waiting for 2 of the reference letter he will go ahead and schedule our home study!!!! Oh my heck, I'm soooooooo excited. It is in 12 days. Meaning we could possibly meet with the adoption committee in less then 3 weeks! Meaning, if we are lucky like last time, we could have a baby in less then 3 weeks! Yeah, I'm starting to do my whole, panic- is everything ready, am I ready, where is this, is that clean, I still need this, we still need safety locks.... and the list goes on and on.
